About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at Cognizant Technology Solutions. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security controls to protect our clients' sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Monitor and analyze security event logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents
  • Design and implement secure architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams on security best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in information technology and 3-5 years of experience in information security
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, including TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions
  • Knowledge of cloud security platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Experience with security orchestration and automation tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant information security industry recognized certification
  • Experience with security frameworks, including HIPAA and HiTrust CSF
  • Knowledge of security protocols, including SSL/TLS and VPN
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools
