About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International's EDITION Hotels in the Riviera Maya. This is a full-time position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel equipment, including cleaning and lubricating tools and machinery.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve issues.
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems with equipment and provide repairs as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and requisition new items as necessary.
  • Communicate daily activities and any issues that occur to other shifts using approved communication programs.
  • Display basic knowledge in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting preferred.
  • Driver's license required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The Riviera Maya location offers a unique blend of luxury and natural beauty, making it an ideal place to work and live.
