We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at HERE Technologies. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the functionality of our products and services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving complex technical issues and operating as the go-to technical expert for our products.
- Support developers using our Location APIs, authoring code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community.
- Manage incident response and escalation, facilitating root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Improve our product portfolio by providing customer insights and requirements for product development and innovation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience, including 1+ year in technical pre-sales, technical customer support, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Full-Stack developer skills, including front-end, back-end, database, software design, and web services.
- Experience with Java, Python, and web development recommended.
- Mobile Application Development experience, APIs, SDK (iOS/Android) recommended.
- Experience with SQL, ArcGIS, Oracle, DBMS is recommended. Experience with spatial databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with location technologies, including map tiles, geocoding, search, navigation, GPS, routing, positioning, rendering, and traffic.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities, including Log & Data analysis in multi-user, high-availability platforms.
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Self-starter and proven record of executing in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (technical and non-technical).
