Procurement Specialist
  1. Previous experience in the electronics industry, preferably with Agility programs (VMI, VCI, MIN/MAX, etc.)
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a full-level position
  3. Results-driven and proactive individual
  4. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  5. Availability of 100% of working time
  6. Proficiency in managing spreadsheets
  7. Advanced numerical analysis skills
  8. Education: Industrial Engineering or similar field
  9. English language proficiency: at least 90% in both oral and written communication

Responsibilities:

  1. Independently coordinate purchasing activities and process purchase requests in a timely manner.
  2. Analyze demand using MRP and/or manual requests to determine needs, and send out RFQs for price and availability.
  3. Monitor supplier delivery and negotiate price, volume, and delivery dates.
  4. Process RMA's, expedite, and reschedule as necessary to meet production requirements.
  5. Resolve AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation.
  6. Research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long-lead-time parts.
