The Consulate Nuevo Laredo is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Visa Assistant to join our Consular Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of consular duties associated with delivering nonimmigrant visa services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform data-entry, document review, correspondence, passport manifesting, visa printing, and other general office work.
- Provide exceptional customer service to applicants in person daily.
- Identify trends or potential issues and escalate them as necessary.
- Work effectively as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and applicants.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform work with accuracy at a quick, rapid pace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under continuous pressure and time constraints.
- Good working knowledge of English is required.
- Fluent in Spanish is required.
