We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global technology company, shaping the future of mobility.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and recordkeeping of tax-related information in Mexico
  • Compliance and reporting of monthly and annual tax obligations in a timely manner for multiple units
  • Timely filing and payments of all tax obligations in Mexico
  • Preparation and submission of tax refund packages to tax agencies
  • Preparation of corporate tax reports and tax forecasts
  • Reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accounts
  • Support for statutory audit review
  • Effective communication and interaction with tax headquarters personnel and/or important tax firms
  • Submission of electronic reports related to new e-accounting in Mexico
  • Maintenance of policies and procedures under a shared services environment

Requirements:

  • Accounting or Finance degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in taxation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with tax-efficient strategies to optimize tax rates
  • Proactive approach with dedication to teamwork
  • Outstanding customer service and continuous improvement skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems (a plus)
  • MX and US GAAP knowledge
  • Strong experience in internal controls
