Job Summary:
WK America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Assembly Site Manager to oversee the successful execution of our international projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet our rigorous standards and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive on-site activities preparation before installation start, including FAT, Internal SWP, and Customer SWP.
- Ensure fulfillment of installation, qualification, testing, and commissioning checklists and SOP.
- Accountable for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) at site, enforcing strict application of the Safety Coordination Plan.
- Manage the FSE team on site, including all subcontractors, and logistic arrangements organization.
- Ensure all required statutory and regulatory conditions are met.
- Direct, coordinate, and provide guidance/support of project activities from all phases of project management, including planning, execution, and acceptance.
- Coordinate periodic meetings with the customer for project status updates and to proactively identify and discuss potential areas of concern.
- Monitor project PNL statements to ensure project costs remain within the contractual budget agreement.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in industrial construction site management within the packaging industry, with a strong technical background.
- Very strong communications skills in both written and verbal communication.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in an industry-related field or have the equivalent of on-the-job experience, normally 5 years of on-the-job experience that includes extensive training in site management.
- Must be able to communicate in English, with bilingualism in French being strongly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or possess a VISA to travel for work purposes between the U.S. and Canada.
- Must be able to read all construction and technical diagrams and drawings developed using the metric system.
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Suite.
- Proven leadership experience in managing diverse or multi-national teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
