**Company Overview**

At Launchpad Tijuana, we're seeking an experienced Material Planner Professional to join our team. As a key player in our logistics department, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

**Job Description**

We're looking for a highly skilled Material Planner who can effectively manage our inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and implement cost-saving strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop accurate forecasts for material requirements, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and demand patterns.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking, while maintaining the lowest possible inventory costs.
  • Supplier Coordination: Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, improve delivery performance, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Cost Savings: Identify opportunities to reduce material costs through process improvements, supplier changes, or alternative sourcing strategies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of direct purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, BOM structures, ECO processes, and material planning principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Engineering Change (EC) processes and new product introduction processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.

**Estimated Salary**: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
