Culinary Artist

POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food according to recipes, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.

• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.

• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.

• Prepare and cook food according to quality, presentation, and preparation standards.

• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

SAFETY, SECURITY, AND QUALITY EXPECTATIONS

• Follow all company and safety policies, reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.

• Participate in safety training and certification programs.

TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals and objectives.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
