Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regulatory Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support for union and non-union personnel to obtain the Federal Railroad License for Railroad Technical Personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer employee documents for obtaining their Federal License.
  • Work closely with supervisors from different areas to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assist employees in securing the proper signatures on the DC3 and logging into the government system.
  • Program medical examinations with SICT for personnel in need of them.
  • Collaborate with the Training Team to ensure employees complete the Federal License course and move forward with the process.
  • Generate follow-up with areas involved to comply with observations made by the Regulatory Authority.
  • Exemplify KCS Vision, Values, and Culture in interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job-related major field of study.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

  • This position has a regular full-time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional work after hours or weekends may be required.
  • Minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
