Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our Business Value Consulting team at OpenText. As a key member of our presales community, you will play a critical role in driving increased sales by helping prospects understand the potential value of an investment in OpenText solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support corporate efforts to enable sales teams and provide feedback on new developments in cloud computing and information management.
  • Collaborate with sales teams throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and qualification to closing, ensuring internal alignment and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Work with customers' Enterprise Architects to provide consensus-based solutions that are scalable, adaptable, and in sync with ever-changing business needs.
  • Help customers align IT strategy and planning with their business goals, driving cloud, security, architecture workshops.
  • Manage risk of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
  • Ensure a proper handover to PS and cloud services, developing migration strategies together.
  • Participate in conferences and events to speak about OpenText Cloud offerings.
  • Develop knowledge in different areas of expertise, from deployment models to OpenText solutions.
  • Support the development of policies, standards, and guidelines governing the selection, development, implementation, and use of IT within the enterprise.
  • Work with customers' privacy and compliance teams to design solutions that meet their requirements for storing their information assets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative/complex technical sales projects.
  • 2+ years of experience in converting on-premise workloads to the cloud.
  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, etc.), business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Understanding of information security (including compliance standards and IT governance).
  • Project and program management planning and organizational skills.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong qualification skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management industry and related products - OpenText products preferred.
  • Knowledge of RISE with SAP | ERP Clean Core Strategy.
  • Knowledge of LACE operating model (Land - Adopt - Consume - Expand).
  • Knowledge of SAP solutions would also be of benefit.
  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Sharing and global mindset.
  • Self-motivated, committed to excellence.
