We are seeking a highly skilled Global Network Engineer to join our team at PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our global network infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, as well as providing exceptional support to our business stakeholders. You will work closely with our network operations team to identify and resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with our vendors and partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage our global network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Provide 24/7 support for critical network issues, working closely with our on-call team to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with our vendors and partners to ensure seamless service delivery and optimize network performance.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and technical guides.
- Participate in capacity planning and forecasting to ensure our network can support business growth and expansion.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve network performance and security.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a network engineering or operations role, with a strong focus on routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Expert-level knowledge of MPLS, SIP, IP, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls, and other network technologies.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, virtual team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, DDIP, F5 101, 200, ACCP, and ITIL are a plus.
