At PepsiCo, we are seeking a highly skilled Mbs Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing best-in-class dashboard solutions for supply chain performance managers, decision makers, specialists, and frontline personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering processes and the ability to utilize SQL to join disparate data sets and bring harmonized data into the visualization layer. They will also have experience with Tableau and PowerBI, as well as intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
The Mbs Data Visualization Specialist will work closely with data engineers and product owners to ensure end-to-end solutions are reliable, accurate, and scalable. They will also partner with team members to align on data design, system design, visual design, and data engineering processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Tableau and PowerBI dashboards
- Utilizing best practices for color, contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity to build consistent look and feel across supply chain dashboards
- Working with HQ Transportation Team SMEs to ensure reporting and analytics supports the Transportation productivity agenda
- Collaborating with existing report owners to migrate tools, develop new innovative tools, and tracking to drive productivity in the areas of $ per mile, $ per case, Out of Route Miles, and other transportation expenses
- Supporting team with ad-hoc analytics, tool troubleshooting, and end-user support
Qualifications include:
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree in business systems or information technology
- 1 year experience with Tableau and PowerBI, as well as intermediate to advanced SQL skills
- Experience utilizing various data sources to harmonize and prepare data for a dashboard solution
- Ability to translate business requirements or ideas into data architecture, data process design, and visual design
