Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical Payment Operations Specialist to play a key role in the functionality of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient functioning of payments and card-related processes, improving operations, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing card scheme processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multiple stakeholders through complex projects, leveraging project management skills and communication techniques.
- Plan, direct, organize, and control payment operations and vendor management.
- Develop procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and complete transaction processing.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risk within areas of responsibility, implementing risk mitigation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with card scheme regulations and policies.
- Responsible for root-cause problem resolution for key back-office operational problems and incidents.
- Assist in making recommendations for changes to improve user experience, reduce processing expenses, and implement efficiencies.
- Provide operational planning and support to the Product team during implementations and onboarding projects.
- Monitor acceptance rates and payments OKRs.
- Identify vulnerable gaps in processes to troubleshoot and optimize card processes.
- Fluent in English; Jeeves is a global company and English is the language we use internally.
- 4+ years of experience in designing and managing processes to meet payment regulatory requirements.
- 4+ years of experience in the card issuer side and card process, in standards, design, and quality.
- Knowledge and relationship with third-party providers to ensure contractual compliance.
- Experience in card scheme implementations, processes, tools, and procedures.
- Agile and able to pivot quickly with the changing environment.
- Collaborative and team-oriented.
