Job Description

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Part 213 monitoring standards, protecting tracks from non-compliance issues, and promoting safety among crews through work audits and safety meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect tracks after repairs are made to ensure they meet safety standards.">
• Respond to trouble calls and conduct special visual inspections after adverse weather alerts.">
• Demonstrate operational excellence by knowing and applying business requirements.">
• Understand relevant business metrics and apply effective tactics to sustain a culture of operational effectiveness.">
• Identify violations of rules, regulations, or policies and have one-on-one conversations with team members to improve performance.">
• Communicate effectively to enhance inclusion, civility, respect, innovation, safety, customer focus, teamwork within KCS.">
• Define roles and responsibilities, hold people accountable, recognize and reward achievements, and provide pinpointed feedback.">

Requirements:

• A minimum five years of relevant operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.">
• Specialist knowledge of one or more disciplines of railroad operations.">
• Valid LFF (Licencia Federal Ferroviaria) for the duration of employment contract.">
