This role is part of the Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC) at Flowserve Corporation. The primary focus of this position is on Quality Assurance, Dossier Creation, and Customer Documentation. The incumbent performs quality inspections and collects job documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Review transfer files and participate in kickoff meetings.
• Create preliminary inspection and test plans (ITPs) based on product manuals, datasheets, specifications, and technical clarifications from the order entry process.
• Develop final inspection and test plans (ITPs) based on transfer file information, considering customer clarifications.
• Manage the document system and information flow for dossier elaboration.
• Collaborate closely with project teams.
• Identify opportunities for process and product upgrades.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gather approvals at the first issue.
• Collaborate with business units and GTEC engineers to enhance customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Years of related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with international standards (ASME, ISO 9001, ASTM, API, etc.).
• Intermediate English verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering products, design principles, and processes.
