We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at British Telecom. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing global contractual risk, obligations, and profit and loss for specific accounts or multiple accounts within complex contracts.

You will be the point of contact for all contractual topics within your parameter and will ensure the resolution of key high-risk contractual issues. Additionally, you will be accountable for ensuring contracts effectively utilize the GS Contract Delivery Services to manage low-level contractual activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the resolution of key high-risk contractual issues within your parameter.
  2. P&L ownership for dedicated mid-sized complex contracts or pillars within a very complex contract.
  3. Accountable for ensuring contracts effectively utilize the GS Contract Delivery Services to manage low-level contractual activities.
  4. Accountable for Risk & obligation management for the parameter of the contract.
  5. Ensuring compliance with all BT governance on contracts.
  6. Customer-facing for all contractual related matters.
  7. Accountable for organic growth on contracts through change control.
  8. Identifies new sales opportunities for the account and hands these to account management to pursue as required.
  9. Ensures that proposed contractual obligations are achievable before contract signature.

Requirements:

  1. Advanced English level.
  2. Contracts Knowledge.
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field – Mandatory.
  4. Experience in meeting customers' needs in line with business requirements – Mandatory.
  5. Experience with development of solution processes – Mandatory.
  6. Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint - Mandatory.
  7. Time and priority management – Mandatory.
  8. Ability to review and manage team performance.
  9. An affinity for problem-solving.
  10. Strong legal and commercial acumen.
  11. Stakeholder Management: build strong cross-functional relationships.
  12. Communications skills: Ability to communicate effectively at operational levels.
  13. Ability to work under pressure to coordinate the team to deliver timely and consistent outputs.
  14. Ability to make logical judgments about where leadership is needed in the team.
  15. Willingness to challenge and resolve contractual challenges and disputes.
