**Job Summary**

As a Full-Time District Sourcing Specialist at Fastenal Mexico, you will be responsible for researching and completing formal Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) from our largest customers. This is a long-term commitment that requires you to work closely with the sourcing team, sales, engineering, quality, suppliers/manufacturers, and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Research and complete formal Large Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) from some of Fastenal Company's largest customers
  • Visit Customer facilities for crib crawls to understand and interpret customer prints
  • Separate product on Fastenal's category as Non Core and Core based on the information from the crib crawl
  • Have knowledge of brands, products, and categories
  • Attend training to get more knowledge about suppliers and brands
  • Offer Exclusive brands
  • Work closely with the following groups: Fastenal Sales Teams, Fastenal Product Development Teams, manufacturers, and customers
  • Work on a team that is focused on Integrated, MRO, or OEM fastener sourcing

**Requirements**

  • Possess or are working towards a Engineering, business, or related degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Prior experience in purchasing or maintenance
  • Prior experience working with industrial products
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
