**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator Host to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. As an Event Coordinator Host, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Meet with event planners to discuss event details and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable* Gather guest information, determine proper setup, timeline, and specific guest needs* Respond to and fulfill special event arrangements, and follow up to ensure compliance* Follow company and safety policies, report accidents, and complete safety training* Maintain uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets* Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation* Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette*

**Requirements**

* Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods* Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance* Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs and/or service ramps* Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping* Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors* Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
