About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Management Specialist to join our team at Celestica.

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining global or regional responsibility for strategic commodities, including price/value determination, product and service negotiations, terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintain global or regional responsibility for strategic commodities">
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for managed commodities">
  • Act as primary interface with suppliers for relationship management and contract negotiation issues">
  • Sources products and services while delivering lowest cost component or service solution">
  • Lead commodity council corporate negotiation teams and provide site direction and performance reporting">
  • Assist in team development and planning, recruitment, and training of new employees">
  • Manage data flow for pricing fluctuations and conduct strategic analysis on pricing, market trends, and suppliers">
  • Drive process improvement and lead development of IT tools for group">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • Extensive knowledge of the marketplace conditions for strategic commodities">
  • Good knowledge of server management hardware industry">
  • Working knowledge of Celestica's global supply chain and policies">
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills">
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and evaluate/prioritize problem-solving">
  • Typical experience: six to eight years relevant experience">
  • Typical education: Bachelor's degree in related field">

Benefits

Celestica offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Work Environment

This is a remote/hybrid position with frequent overnight travel required.
