Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that all materials and supplies are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Review and analyze inventory levels to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize the supply chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management on procurement activities and costs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
