- Labor Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce labor costs through automation, process improvement, and workforce optimization, without compromising work quality and safety.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee manufacturing engineering projects, ensuring the achievement of established objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Capital Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage the manufacturing engineering budget, identifying investment needs in equipment, technology, and human resources to enhance production capacity and efficiency.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as operations, quality, maintenance, and procurement to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives and projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing engineering team, implementing best practices and methodologies to optimize processes and achieve operational excellence.
- Talent Development: Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and capabilities needed for success.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all engineering activities and initiatives, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing engineering leadership, with a focus on process optimization and technology integration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving labor cost reductions, improving efficiency, and implementing best practices in manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. They will also have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
