About the Role

As a Cloud Technology Program Coordinator at Amazon Web Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V., you will play a crucial role in managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, program managers, and other members of the AWS team to coordinate the launch of different services and products.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and high-risk areas.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges with service owners.
  • Manage technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, driving scope, sprint/scrum ceremonies, project planning, schedule, budget, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Evaluate system-level technical design.
  • Simplify and automate metrics and reporting.
A Day in the Life

You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering resources across one or more technical projects. You will drive those projects forward, interacting with multiple stakeholders, ensuring the project is on track, and delivered with the highest quality. You will implement and innovate new mechanisms leveraging data and KPIs.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience in defining and setting up project level KPIs, metrics, data analysis, improving end-to-end delivery processes, and setting up program level initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings.
