About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective cloud infrastructure solutions for business and technical challenges.

Automate Infrastructure Provisioning

Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure consistency across environments.

Ensure Application Deployment and Configuration Management

Use tools like Ansible to automate application deployment and configuration management, ensuring efficient provisioning and maintenance across diverse environments.

Provide Ongoing Support and Maintenance

Offer expertise in cloud and infrastructure-related prep work to help with setting up different resources in AWS, and provide ongoing support to multiple teams.

Collaborate with Teams and Drive Innovation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement in cloud and infrastructure solutions, and leverage Kubernetes/Rafay for orchestrating and facilitating the efficient deployment and management of containerized applications and scaling.

Requirements

  1. Advanced AWS Proficiency

Demonstrated 3+ years of work experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, and ability to debug, understand, and work with complex systems and architectures within AWS.

Scripting and Automation Skills

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate tasks and streamline processes, and experience managing AWS Lambda functions, including deployment, scaling, and integration within the DevOps workflow.

Containerization and Orchestration

In-depth knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration, and experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

Communication and Collaboration

Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with and supporting different users, and proven experience working and collaborating in a team layout and with remote team members.

Desirable Skills

  • Certified on AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
  • Python and/or C# coding skills.
