Job Description

As a key member of the CS GROUP team, you will contribute to the Commercial Space Station project in Airbus, focusing on Mission Planning and Operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Mission Planning expertise and support to the design and development of Commercial Space Station operations, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration with various teams.
  • Contributing to the definition and refinement of Commercial Space Station Mission Planning, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
  • Defining Mission Planning scenarios, taking into account interfaces with Mission Operations, Engineering, and safety, to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Identifying innovative mission support tools to enhance the Commercial Space Station's capabilities.
  • Developing inputs for the Training Process regarding Mission Planning, ensuring that team members are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities.
  • Participating in program reviews, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive project success.
  • Coordinating with other Mission functions and teams, such as NASA, Commercial Crew Transport, and Cargo, to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
  • Performing other duties as agreed and required, aligning with the project's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in aerospace, electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a strong understanding of spacecraft systems and subsystems architectures.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, techniques, and tools, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of computer-aided design and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work proactively and comfortably in full autonomy.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with knowledge of another European language being an advantage.
