We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to join our team at Kbr. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed of changing regulations and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, safety management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
