Your Mission

As a critical member of the SAP team, you will be responsible for running our SAP landscape, ensuring its efficiency and security. Your main mission will consist of monitoring and maintaining the SAP landscape, following up on support cases, and resolving issues. You will oversee and direct SAP lifecycle, including design, implementation, and upgrade schedules, as well as ensure system security and oversee the activities of the SAP authorizations offshore team.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Maintenance: Review logs, troubleshoot errors, and ensure the system is functioning as it should.
• Job Scheduling: Carefully schedule various automatic background jobs to avoid performance issues.
• Transport Management and Testing: Ensure software updates are compatible with the landscape.
• Incident/Service Requests: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues, and participate in escalation calls.
• Projects: Play a key role in planning system upgrades and migrations.
• SAP Authorization Gatekeeper: Understand SAP security role architecture and serve as the point of contact for all SAP authorization matters across all program teams.
• Liaise with the SAP Offshore Authorizations Administration Team: Ensure the team achieves audit compliance and management-defined performance metrics.
• Provide Input: Contribute to SAP Security-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate Continued Deployment: Ensure compliance with security methodology and design requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/Security Administration, including one or more of the following SAP modules: ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and CRM.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience in Cloud Platforms.
• Authorization Concept: Strong understanding of authorization concept, including SU24 and SU25 maintenance.
• S/4 HANA and SAP Authorizations: Exposure to S/4 HANA and SAP authorizations in SAP HANA.
• International Environment: Ability to work in an international environment and a team split across the world.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with additional language knowledge a good asset.
