Your Role

Molex is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support our Cable Assembly Segment team in Nogales, MX. As a key member of our Division Sourcing/NPD Manager team, you will be responsible for managing local supplier relationships and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal customers to identify and address unmet needs that align with procurement and business goals.
  • Partner with Molex Design teams throughout the Product Development process to manage BOM cost through Product Launch.
  • Apply category strategies from Category Managers to new product sourcing needs.
  • Assist in implementing new sourcing/inventory strategies due to accelerated sourcing transformation.
  • Proactively manage supply risk in the new product development process.
  • Issue requests for quotations, analyze and evaluate quotes, negotiate price and terms, and select suppliers based on the lowest total cost of ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • English language proficiency at a professional level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using data analytics tools.
