Nordson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies throughout our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Locate and retrieve materials and supplies as needed, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Stage work orders in accordance with production schedules and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Store and package materials and products with precision and care to prevent damage and contamination.
- Accurately record inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify and address any inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Participate in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1+ year of related experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly recommended.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
The Material Handler will be required to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods, as well as lift and move materials up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
