About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Jellyfish. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our Business Intelligence specialism, a growing area within our Analytics capability and our broader Data & Insights department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data profiling to identify anomalies
  • Support in designing the data model for reporting requirements
  • Create logical database views to facilitate dashboard implementation
  • Develop dashboards and create reports
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure outputs match their underlying data sources and meet their design requirements
  • Maintain smaller client accounts, often those with a specific data visualization (dashboard) deliverable or project with limited complexity
  • Help provide ad-hoc reports for various teams
  • Be the first-line of technical support for users, offering them hands-on support to ensure they can successfully use the reporting solution

Requirements

  • +2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence position
  • SQL experience, writing SQL queries for data management, ingestion, and transformation
  • Understand how marketers may use a data visualization tool to help them monitor and improve their marketing campaigns
  • Practical experience with Data Studio, Datorama, Tableau, Looker, Power BI and/or other business and marketing intelligence platforms
  • Ability to communicate your work clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail combined with a careful approach to the process
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team, and Jellyfish as a whole
