Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Daikin Manufacturing México. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with Quality Specifications: Ensure that products meet customer quality specifications, manage quality control in assembly lines, conduct product and process audits, and address audit findings.
- New Product Validations: Support APQP management, validate each phase of new launches, verify critical characteristics and processes to prevent defects during mass production and customer complaints.
- KPI and Performance Management: Monitor KPI compliance and assembly line performance, oversee quality engineers, auditors, quality technicians, and repair personnel, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Material Validation: Validate materials deemed as SCRAP during production.
- Laboratory and Calibration: Involve the laboratory to ensure equipment calibration and verification, and safeguard laboratory components.
- Team Training: Ensure the team meets standard and additional training requirements, involving competent trainers.
- Analysis and Project Management: Contribute to problem-solving, project management, engineering changes, industrialization evaluation, and applying lessons learned.
- Corrective Action Closure: Execute and close 8D corrective actions for customer complaints, adhering to standards and response times.
- Evaluation and Follow-Up: Conduct monthly evaluations and follow-ups on assigned elements in ADP.
- Continuous Training: Ensure ongoing training provided by the Sr. Quality Manager.
- Promotion of Values and Regulations: Promote DAIKIN's values, regulations, and training in quality, production, and HR.
Work Environment
Maintain a work environment aligned with the culture promoted by the plant director and quality manager.
