**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled CAD Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Sahagun, Mexico. As a key member of our Mechanical Domain, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our transportation solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Model and store allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in Digital Mock-Up.
  • Perform Detailed Design on internal sub-systems.
  • Perform 3D, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments, Metier rules, and processes.
  • Fulfill attributes for each part in Digital Mock-Up (naming, material, Fire & Smoke, etc.).
  • Verify consistency of digital mock-up (no clash, etc.) and compliance with requirements (allocated volumes, weight, interfaces, etc.) on assigned scope.
  • Prepare and document Mechanical Domain Design Reviews according to N+1 instructions.
  • Update Digital Mock-Up taking into account Change Requests.
  • Check other CADs' and sub-contractor's Design Quality.
  • Realize stack-up analysis.
  • Realize Bill of Material.

**Requirements**

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of CATIA.
  • Good communications skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, including with third parties (customers).
  • Time management and reporting skills.
  • Sense of urgency/priority.
  • Structured and organized with a hands-on approach.
  • 3D Modelling, drawing rules, and stack-up analysis.
