Job Description:

As an Acquisition Specialist at TE Connectivity, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring materials, components, and services to support the company's mission of creating a safer, sustainable, and more connected world.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchase orders from creation to payment, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of milestones and problem-solving with suppliers and internal functions.
  • Establish regular communication cadences with suppliers and escalate those posing significant risks to the business.
  • Optimize material/component availability through inventory management and replenishment system strategies.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Buyer/Purchasing Analyst/Procurement specialist.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to demonstrate a customer-focused and continuous improvement attitude.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
