Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist Supply Chain Analyst to join our hybrid team responsible for managing market insights delivered through our software-as-a-service products. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge data analytics and visualization tools. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to save money and reduce risks for our clients.
Main Responsibilities
Perform data extraction, manipulation, and analysis of large datasets. Develop new ways to analyze and visualize data to inform business decisions. Collaborate with product development, data science, research groups, consulting, sales & marketing, and customer success teams to drive continuous improvement of our product and processes. Bring thought leadership by assessing industry trends, market conditions, and business needs. Support the sales process by creating marketing collateral infused with market insights and contributing to go-to-market strategies, proposal development, and product demonstrations. Manage multiple client accounts and serve as an expert on select Wood Mackenzie supply chain products.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have 3+ years' experience in data science or a related field, a Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills are required, along with excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Experience with data manipulation tools to solve complex quantitative problems is a plus. English proficiency is required. We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience, estimated at $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
