Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team at Jabil Circuit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to achieve optimal customer delivery performance and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Planning
    • Develop and implement a process to deliver accurate commitments to customers' forecasts.
    • Ensure an achievable Master Production Schedule is in place to support customer requirements and Jabil revenue projections.
    • Manage the receipt and recording of demand plans from customers, capacity availability analysis, materials availability analysis, and construction of a commit plan.
    • Load the Jabil Master Production Schedule, select Master Production Schedule, Material Requirements Planning or Re-Order Point strategies, and set parameters.
    • Balance capacity across manufacturing resources and sites as required.
  • Customer Relationships
    • Act as the main customer focal point for all planning activities throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Develop relationships with customer planning teams and other key participants.
    • Gain general business awareness of the customer, including market, products, sales cycles, and promotions.
  • Effective Communication
    • Ensure communication of all relevant customer information internally and to the supply chain as appropriate.
    • Escalate constraints in materials and capacity within the business unit(s) and Supply Chain.
    • Utilize key Jabil tools/templates for capturing, managing, and sharing data.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate with customers and Jabil's Operations Team to develop planning solutions that improve performance and service levels.
    • Communicate areas for improvement to Jabil and the Supply Chain based on customer feedback.
    • Maintain knowledge of planning systems developments and implement necessary improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of supply chain planning principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
