Job Description

Job Title: Field Services Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Field Services Director to lead our team in ensuring the optimal performance of our assets. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical experts and coordinating with internal and external resources to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management plans to optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO) of our assets.
  2. Service Strategy: Define and execute a service strategy to support the expected performance of our assets over their lifetime.
  3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of technical experts, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and training to excel in their roles.
  4. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate service contracts with O&M providers and warranties with OEMs to ensure the best possible outcomes for our organization.
  5. Tool Specification: Participate in the specification of service tools and dedicated applications to support our asset management efforts.
  6. Cost Estimation: Provide cost estimates for special projects to support quotes and optimize project costs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (optional)
  • Direct management experience of a team of technical support individuals
  • On-demand expert resources in Engineering team to address complex technical cases
  • CMMS, ERP, internal tools (BTGO)
  • 10-15 years industry experience in Renewable Energy, Utility, Solar & Storage, EAAS
  • O&M experience in renewables appreciated
  • Customer support & Field Service management experience is a must
  • Direct and functional management experience
  • Able to live in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
  • Able to work under Hybrid scheme – work from home policy for 2 to 3 days max/week
  • International travel will be required on a regular basis (20 to 40% of time)
  • Working across time zones may require flexibility in working hours
