About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Amgen. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze actual and forecasted expenses variance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, consolidation, and forecasting to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and consolidate budget and latest estimate data, ensuring timely and accurate upload into Anaplan and Hyperion.
  • Support long-term planning activities, including financial analysis and modeling.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or Associate's degree with 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools, such as Anaplan and Hyperion.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Studies in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Experience with JD Edwards One World and COGNOS GPS planning and reporting.
