- Identity Integration: Integrate identity services seamlessly into our applications, ensuring a cohesive user experience across multiple platforms.
- Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in identity management, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
- Feature Development: Drive the design and implementation of new features, breaking down complex problems into their bare essentials, translating complexity into elegant design, and creating high-quality, clean code.
- Community Impact: Make a meaningful impact in the lives of our community members.
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate and mentor other engineers while providing thoughtful guidance using code, design, and architecture reviews.
- Quality and Efficiency: Care passionately about producing high-quality, efficient designs and code.
- 4+ years of delivering value through software in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Familiarity with access control schemes, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and other identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
- Prior experience with at least one identity management system, such as Keycloak, Okta, Auth0, or similar.
- Prior experience with JVM-based languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Prior experience with frontend development with React or similar frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, result-driven environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
