Indirect Procurement Specialist

As a key member of our Project Development Team, you will be responsible for supporting the calculation of material costs and Bill of Materials (BOM) within project acquisition. You will handle all purchasing processes independently and prepare decision documents in consultation with your superior. Your targets for BOM and tool investments will be implemented, and you will prepare and evaluate make-or-buy concepts. You will also prepare RFQs for new parts and changes within projects, design and coordinate supplier selection, and negotiate prices with suppliers. Your responsibilities will also include ordering materials, tools, and changes, ensuring supplier schedules are met and within budget, and administering data within our ERP system. You will also initiate actions to reduce costs within projects.
**Requirements:**
- Technical degree or degree in economics with technical affinity or comparable education with further specific education
- First relevant experiences during internships
- Proficiency in English
- Safe handling of MS Office and SAP MM
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and pronounced solution-based approach
- Analytical, interdepartmental, and customer-oriented thinking and acting
- Communication skills to build up networks internal/external
- Knowledge in cost analysis
**Responsibilities:**
- Consulting of R&D regarding production-conforming design
- Participation in Risk Analysis and support in the preparation of contract documentation (book of duty)
- Controlling of the APQP-Process for supplier parts from product design until transfer to Webasto plant
- Evaluation of Feasibility Studies of Suppliers
- Documentation and tracking of APQP status and progress
- Preparation, Validation, and Approval of PPAP/PPF
- Root cause analysis in case of technical deviations as well as definition and follow-up of necessary corrective actions
- Securing of compliance of the Webasto PEP process and use of the SIPOCs
- Preparation and update of the APQP status for PM and escalation of deviations to the project plan
**Pay:** $40,000.00 per month
