The Role
As a Medical Manager, you will be shaping the clinical ecosystem for a specific therapeutic area through collaborations and creating & leveraging networks with external customers within this ecosystem. Your goal will be to ensure faster access, with better outcomes for more patients in accordance with Local laws, regulations, and Roche SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to and implement tactical medical plans in collaboration with internal partners, including Commercial enablers, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Market Access.
- Manage Therapeutic Area Experts, facilitate knowledge exchange throughout the product lifecycle, and foster a Personalised Health Care approach.
- Identify, collect, and report any Adverse Events (AEs) and/or other reportable events, and forward to the drug safety department within relevant timelines.
- Identify and report any product quality complaints and forward to the local complaint manager within timelines.
- Provide training for business units, sales force, medical department, and other roles on medical information processes to ensure compliant and high-quality customer service.
- Support the positioning of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Support the review of materials related to NGS and resolve doubts for customers (oncologists, laboratory heads, geneticists, etc.).
- Act as a link between FMI medical and Avenio global, with the affiliate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in medical-oncology or genetics.
- Mastery of sequencing solutions: FMI.
- Understanding of the local healthcare system, business (reimbursement and policies), and relevant laws and regulations.
- Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
- Experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical relevance for the purpose of understanding and communicating clinical study results.
- Relationships with KOLs, other leaders with vision, and external professional, disease, and research organizations is strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
