Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at FedEx LAC. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground ops, ramp, and/or gateway locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily operational and administrative support to Sr Manager or a Manager, ensuring the most effective utilization of time and effort.
  • Perform a variety of administrative, clerical, and additional key activities to support the operation, including tracing packages, dispatching, delivery and pick-up, dealing with customers, etc.
  • Lead and provide technical support to operation and ensure that established procedures are followed.
  • Supervise in the absence of management and ensure that optimum service schedules are developed and coordinated within the operations.
  • Coordinate processing of station documentation and customer status paperwork, GNSL reports, and financial statements.
  • Provide weekly and monthly activity review and provide training to other location personnel as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Education/Equivalent.
  • Four (4) years express, cargo, airline, or transportation experience.
  • Good verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good administrative, clerical, and people skills.
