About this Role

This position will be responsible for our global IT asset management program, leveraging our policies, procedures, and activities within our ServiceNow instance and other integrated platforms. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in infrastructure, project management methodologies, process improvements, and familiarity with IT asset management, with experience using ServiceNow for executing both hardware and software asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers (both IT and business) to gather business and functional requirements, map existing processes, and assist with process re-design
  • Lead various IT asset services projects (new functionality/technologies, process enhancement/improvements)
  • Design, build, maintain, and update process documentation that addresses all aspects of usage and ensures compliance
  • Follow up on critical and/or complex issues/actions
  • Complete software entitlement and purchase tasks from business demand
  • Assist in purchase requisitions for software and/or hardware
  • Assist in ServiceNow idea creation based on requirements gathering
  • Work with suppliers that integrate with or support the asset lifecycle (examples: hardware re-sellers, disposal vendors, asset management database software vendors)
  • Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • Efficient Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and information technology hardware & software
  • Ability to develop and document new processes, RACI matrices, and workflows/process maps (MS Visio or equivalent)
  • Desire to continually learn about new technology and analyze how it might best be applied
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual
  • Demonstrate an understanding of software license agreements
  • Enjoy being part of a team and networking with people

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the IT asset lifecycle
  • Demonstrates an understanding of software license entitlements and purchasing
  • Possesses knowledge of project management agile methodologies
  • Possesses strong process and policy documentation skills
  • Possesses experience in ServiceNow ITSM platform
  • Possesses experience in Flexera One software platform
  • Demonstrates ability to lead small projects within digital technology discipline
