Workforce Planning and Optimization Manager

At Jellyfish, we're looking for a skilled Workforce Planning and Optimization Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring optimal utilization of our Creative & Experience team to meet business objectives.

You'll develop and implement workforce planning strategies, forecasting staffing needs, and optimizing the allocation of resources to improve operational efficiency. Your collaboration with our capabilities will align workforce strategies with our goals, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies aligned with our short-term and long-term goals.
  • Conduct regular analysis of staffing needs based on current and projected workloads, industry trends, and our growth.
  • Utilize data analytics and forecasting models to predict staffing requirements, identify trends, and improve resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to gather and analyze relevant workforce data.
  • Work with department managers, HR, and other team members to understand our requirements and staffing needs.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure a unified approach to workforce planning.
  • Assess team capacities to ensure optimal utilization of resources and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to address skill gaps, upskilling opportunities, and escalating findings to leadership and senior team members.
  • Establish goals related to workforce planning, adjusting strategies.
  • Report on workforce metrics to leadership, highlighting areas for improvement including talent risk management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce planning.
  • Evaluate and enhance workforce planning processes to adapt to changing needs.
  • Support the Resource Team globally to help build a properly resourced, productive global team.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, or a related role within an international digital marketing, advertising or technology business.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Certinia, or similar software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools and models.
  • The ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing processes and workflow - specially creative teams.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
