Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Transaction Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial transactions and maintaining our reputation as a trusted financial services provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify potential compliance risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Operations Management Team to develop and implement effective compliance strategies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on compliance matters, including transactional holds, business rules, and control requirements.
  • Assist in the release of transactions placed on hold and provide support to the transactional processes.
  • Validate and integrate watch lists, including internal blacklists, OFAC lists, and other relevant lists.
  • Serve as a liaison with correspondents to respond to information/documentation requests and coordinate the preparation and delivery of required information.
  • Organize and maintain files and records, and provide training to new Authorized Delegates or those requiring renewal.
  • Generate documentation required by agents to certify their status as Viamericas' Authorized Delegates.
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Operations Management Team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of advanced learning and work experience.
  • Experience and skill in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills, including narratives and flowcharts.
  • Strong process adherence orientation and ability to handle problems, complaints, and questions regarding compliance paperwork.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to multi-task and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring shift work, including regular evening and weekend hours. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
