Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives in Mexico.
- Provide leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and mission.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all business functions.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize performance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulators, and industry influencers.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team to drive business success.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all business activities comply with local laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in the regulatory landscape and adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company in industry forums and associations.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the Regional Director and executive team.
- Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in similar roles and leadership roles. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business in Mexico.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills. Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
