Position: Oracle Integration Consultant

Overview:

Join Oracle's Construction and Engineering Industry Group (CEIG), which specializes in project-driven sectors such as engineering, construction, aerospace, defense, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, automotive, financial services, communications, travel and transportation, healthcare, and government at various levels.

Role Summary:

The CEIG offers a range of products that enhance Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software, including Unifier, P6, Aconex, OPPM, and Oracle Primavera Cloud. These tools are designed to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, improve supply-chain efficiency, and facilitate decision-making through real-time data analytics.

The Oracle Integration Consultant will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and documentation of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This position requires collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, leading to the development of blueprints, configurations, testing, migrations, support, and ongoing enhancements of the integration framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients, Oracle internal teams, and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test the assigned integration solutions and software frameworks.
  • Contribute to knowledge management and software code reusability.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and a strong understanding of Oracle Primavera products.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and pre-sales opportunities, driving them to successful completion.
  • Enhance and refine blended delivery processes.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives aimed at improving services within Oracle's Construction and Engineering Global business unit.
  • Collaborate and report to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing or consulting experience.
  • At least 5 years of overall experience in relevant technical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Experience in enterprise software implementation for a software company.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Prior experience with Oracle products and systems integration.
  • Excellent coaching and communication abilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, and Web/REST Services.
  • Familiarity with Java or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with tools such as POSTMAN and SOAP UI.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
  • Expertise in web services, including SOAP and REST.
  • Hands-on experience in integration development and data migrations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera products (P6, Unifier, Primavera Cloud, Analytics, Aconex, OPPM) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
