Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Coordination: Oversee warehouse management, including receipt, storage, and distribution of finished products. Ensure accurate inventory management of finished products and implement quality control and safety processes within the warehouse.
- Finished Product Management: Supervise the storage and management of finished products, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Coordinate the distribution of finished products to customers or sales points, optimizing delivery times and minimizing costs.
- Raw Material Planning: Place orders for raw materials accordingly to support production needs and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
- Import and Export Operations: Manage import process, including coordination with customs agents, transporters, and international suppliers. Ensure compliance with import and export regulations and maintain proper documentation.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse, purchasing, and importing processes, and develop and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, international logistics, and finished product handling.
- Experience in managing continuous improvement projects.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and proactively resolve issues.
- Proficiency in inventory management and ERP software.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
