Job Summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead the Paint Line operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining paint processes, equipment specifications, and maintenance procedures to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement paint process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Design and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives to optimize production workflows and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and implement new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications for new equipment and manage capital projects.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on paint line operations and maintenance.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement Six Sigma and Pro Launch initiatives to improve process efficiency and quality.
  • Estimate production times and develop strategies to reduce standard times.
  • Work closely with IT, Operational Excellence, Production, Quality, and Facilities teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering position for Paint Lines with powder coating process.
  • Strong knowledge of powder coating manufacturing process and related systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to replicate gained knowledge and train others.
  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office toolset.
