Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to lead the Cycle count team, ensuring accurate administration of materials in our plant. This role will achieve key goals, ensure security, and generate a Stock Level Strategy at ROH Material and Excess and Obsolete reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory errors to ensure accuracy
- Achieve high production attainment and minimize discrepancies
- Monitor sub-Warehouse levels and maintain periodic inventory reports
- Coordinate with Plant Stores/Warehouse and Logistics for seamless inventory transactions
- Maintain inventory processing and accuracy, including cycle counting and physical inventory
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and other functions impacting inventory transactions
- Develop and manage cycle counting processes according to VG policy
- Ensure system inventory accuracy meets plant targets
- Perform analysis to optimize inventory levels, Kanban, and min-max levels
- Participate in ownership of planning and executing periodic physical inventory
- Generate periodic inventory reports and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain focus on continuous improvement and change management
- Play a key role in avoiding Excess and Obsolete (E&O) issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a related environment
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
