We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with city, state, and federal environmental regulations, as well as maintaining ISO 13485 compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement processes to improve labor efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Perform Engineering Change Orders to maintain existing or create new product configurations, machines, and tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ACM & ASI quality system requirements for ISO 13485 and FDA GMP regulations.
- Support projects and programs to improve production processes and increase production volume.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through continuous education and training.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or similar field.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products, ERP Software, and ACAD.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
